Private Road

Where in ancient starlight we lay
Unattached through insistence
For loneliness further to stay
Flooding out to the distance

Neither sleep nor death will ease
Where chosen paths bewandered
In search of putative release
All kinship will be squandered

Where in warm daylight we live
This tortuous path turns insain
Whilst common source is to give
Is it in alliance we will remain
